Hi Ladies and Gentlemen of the APA community,

As you will have no doubt seen reported on the news, Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been officially declared a pandemic.

The APA committee has met tonight(13/3/2020) to discuss how this affects the upcoming Australian Masters and World Cup. After much discussion, the committee has decided to cancel the 2020 Australian Masters and World Cup event.

This decision was not made lightly. It has financial implications for all stakeholders. We understand this may not be a popular decision, but we feel that it is the right decision as the COVID-19 situation develops.

It is the committees hope that by making the decision now allows people sufficient time to cancel accommodation bookings etc.

Our AGM was to be conducted during this event. The committee will be in touch shortly regarding this matter.

Kind Regards,

Jason Arnold.

APA President.
